        The dynamism and innovative structure of the present time make it necessary to improve and change in all areas. The countries that consider the needs of societies, adapt to changes truly, and go beyond the statistical data provide welfare to their citizens.

        It is beyond any doubt that one of the most important reforms that Turkey performed in recent years is the Social Security Reform. The reform entered into force on 1 September 2008 as a result of meticulous studies with the participation of social partners. It satisfies our citizens in terms of standardization of providing services and obligations, and also its human-oriented approach.

      Change, transformation and sustainability are the key words of the Social Security Reform. Decisive maintenance of the reform which is revolutionary in its field is an issue of will and faith. These will and faith have taken attention of many countries in the world.

       In the coming years, the Social Security Institution will decisively continue its studies to maintain effective, equal, accessible and sustainable social security system which is based on social insurance principle and modern standards. The Social Security Institution will pioneer innovations by improving its quality-based and citizen-oriented understanding.
